YouTube Queues Videos to Chromecast So You Don’t Have To

YouTube has announced a small, but handy feature for those Chromecast owners who like to set it and forget it when it comes to viewing. As of this week, viewers will be able to queue up YouTube videos via a new Playlist feature on their YouTube watch page and stream that playlist to their Chromecast device.

Google gets that we are the masters of multi-tasking with a multitude of tabs open at any one time. If a viewer is casting then why not find the quickest and most efficient way of doing that? Users will very soon be able to cast a video from a single tab, and continue to choose more to watch. YouTube took to Google Plus (of course) to announce the news:

YouTube also confirmed that the Watch Page is also getting a teeny makeover in the next few days, with an updated description box, and easier ways to share video content across social media networks.
