If you are serious camera junkie, then you’ll already know that Sony has confirmed the price and the availability of its new a7S model. If you weren’t, the company released a 6-second Vine this week to bring you up to date. Elsewhere, summer is on its way so The Home Depot keep the gardening clips and tips coming, and Hewlett Packard take a printer for a seaside trip. Like you do. In our other picks of the week, American Apparel takes to the video platform to confirm how and where it produces its wooden sandals, and Vine megastar Rudy Mancuso has so many regrets that he didn’t stop at Taco Bell.

Best Branded Vines of the Week

#1 The Home Depot

The Home Depot takes us through a complicated journey in this week’s Vine. It’s a Rube Goldberg-esque trip from seed to plant – and of course, all component parts can be purchased at the store.

#2 Sony Electronics

Sony has set hearts aflutter with the announcement of pricing and availability for the much-awaited full-frame Sony A7S mirrorless camera. Apparently, it’s going to be available for purchase in the U.S. in July at the very reasonable price of $2,500. We’ll take two.

#3 Hewlett Packard

*sings* “Oh we do like to be beside the seaside, oh we do like to be beside the sea…” and so do Hewlett Packard in this Vine. We’d like to think that this printer didn’t jam with 0.00000001 seconds of contact with a grain of sand, but then it wouldn’t be like any printer we’ve ever used if that’s the case.

#4 American Apparel

With all eyes on the fashion industry and their use of cheap labor, American Apparel use the Vine platform to promote the fact that some of its products, in particular this wooden sandal, is manufactured right at home in the U.S.

#5 Taco Bell

With over 4.4 million followers, Vine superstar Rudy Mancuso is famous for his ‘denials’ series. He teamed up with Taco Bell to produce this very funny ‘Taco Bell Denial’ clip.

Thanks to our friends at Unruly for the suggestions.
