Of the top ten videos listed in this week’s global sponsored videos chart, three feature food and drink content or are paid for by food and drinks brands, two revolve around sports, and five were partnerships between lifestyle brands and publishers .

After their stunning victory over Liverpool in the Champions League Final, Real Madrid make their second appearance in a row in a video sponsored by adidas Football. The announcement of their kit release for the 2018/2019 season generated 3M Facebook video views for adidas, and with the FIFA World Cup about to kick off, we can expect to see many more soccer-focused collaborations over June and July.

Taking the #4 spot is the partnership between Muscle Milk and Bleacher Report to celebrate LeBron James bringing the Cleveland Cavaliers back to the NBA Finals and crowning him the ruler of the Eastern Conference. Unfortunately, for James, the Golden State Warriors proved too great a team to give the Cavs a shot at winning the finals, but LeBron’s legendary status proves untarnished, and the sponsored video generated an impressive 3.2M views on the Bleacher Report’s Facebook property.

Between the 27th of May and the 2nd of June 2018, 4,454 brands sponsored 9,002 videos that were directly uploaded to brand partners channels and pages on YouTube and Facebook.. These are the top 10 ranked by views generated in the first 3 days (V3).
