Fun Video Friday: Dr Who, Ron Burgundy And Kermit The Frog

It’s a Friday so what better time of the week to bring you the most creative and silliest videos of the last seven days. We have some that may make you cry (because babies), some that will make you laugh (Ron Burgundy sings Rob Ford’s campaign song) and some that will make you wince (everyone is doing the splits). We also get a glimpse of the new Muppets movie, which looks a scream, and watch 13 Dr Whos’ fight to the death. Happy Friday!

A group of expectant parents were asked to confirm their greatest fears for their unborn child and why they would bring a baby into this war ravaged, crime ridden, unjust world. A positive spin on things from Unilever brings forth some very emotional responses. What’s that noise? Oh nothing, just the sound of my ovaries clacking.

Talking of the next generation, the new video from girls game-maker GoldieBlox throws a tonne of shade at the notion that to be a little girl means pink, sparkles, dolls and little else. The clip shows three young girls rebelling against the stereotype and building their own Rube Goldberg-like contraption. GoldieBlox is also one of four finalists who can be voted for to have its advert played during the 2014 Super Bowl ad break.

It’s just another day in Middle Earth so expect the unexpected at Air New Zealand as you board a plane where Hobbit like flight attendants serve up the freshest veg from the Shire and beardy, gnarled dwarves man the controls. Fantastically creative.

The official trailer for the new Muppets movie “Muppets Most Wanted” has been released and Kermit the Frog is being stitched up like a kipper by his crime lord doppelganger, Constantine. The film is due in theatres on March 21st, 2014.

Look at me! ScreenJunkies have come up with another belting supercut, this time it’s all about the phrase ‘Look at me’, from films such as Back to the Future, Goodfellas, Superbad, West Side Story, The Producers, The Cable Guy and dozens of others. Mesmerising.

In preparation for this weekend’s Dr Who fest, watch all 13 Doctors battle it out, Hunger Games style.

Rob Ford is the gift that keeps on giving (see below) but watch how Anchorman legend Ron Burgundy comes to his defence and sings the Mayor’s campaign theme song in this clip from Conan.

The excellent Glove and Boots bring us their guide to internet trolling.

Your Jean-Claude Van Damme Spoofs Of The Week

First the original, for the handful of people who haven’t seen it yet.

Now, watch Channing Tatum perform his own death defying stunt.

And finally, of course there’s a Rob Ford version.
