I probably receive an invite from the UK and across Europe every week to discuss how I can work together with Digital Marketers in one form or another in their country. While I really value these contacts and discussions, the demands of running such an active website as reelseo.com and the general constraints of time mean that so far I have not been able to respond as fully as I would liked.

What is emerging out of both their experience and from my conversations with others I know well in the UK and Europe is that many digital agencies offering traditional Search Marketing and SEO services and finding it hard to keep up with the rapidly changing pace of Online Video Marketing. The continuous changes in YouTube don’t help.
In fact it appears that several national and local video production companies and quickly moving into this space, and successfully helping their clients in this area, despite it traditionally being outside of their expertise. I guess this makes sense if you are a brand that is investing in video production and expecting multi-channel and device distribution – but are not finding that expertise in your existing SEO agency.
At the workshop we will be looking in-depth a several case studies within local and national production and seeding agencies that are using creative and social video and video ad campaigns for their clients within the UK.
