If you are trying to get the most out of your online video marketing and advertising campaigns and are using Google Adwords then you need to set some time aside later today for the Google Hangout On Air which is set to be all about Adwords for Video. The hangout is set to pop off at 11am PST.
Google holds weekly Hangout On Air sessions to help business users get a better handle on using their services to promote themselves. I just happened to see that this week was AdWords for Video so I thought I would drop everyone a note. My schedule today won’t allow me to attend unfortunately.
Here’s the quick write up on today’s session:
Watch Wednesday’s Hangout on Air to hear more about AdWords for video from two specialists who will address who should use video advertising, how to up set video campaigns, what performance metrics are available, and a few more helpful tricks.
I thought it could have some really great information for those of you who are trying to crack open the online video advertising nut using Google.
On top of that, it will also demonstrate the value of Google Hangouts, since that’s how they’re conducting what amounts to a webinar. All you need to do is have a Google+ account and then add the Google+ Your Business page to your circles. Once you’ve got that set up you can head to their page at the set hour, today at 11am PST, and the top post will have a play button. There’s already a post on their page where you can leave questions in advance.
But don’t worry if you can’t get there like me, the recording will be up on the Google and Your Business channel on YouTube later this week.
If you’re not familiar with the Google+ Help Desk Hangouts On Air, they cover a wide range of topics to help you, the business owners, get further intertwined into Google services to get the most out of them. Previous Hangout On Air sessions from them have included Google Analytics, how to use Hangouts for your Business, Advertising with AdWords, Google Places for business, Chromebooks and AdWords and the Display Network. As far as I can tell, this is their first about video advertising, aside from actually using Google Hangouts. There’s ansetup of all the sessions.
Sometimes I think Google wields too much power and they have their hands in too many pots and are unable to manage everything efficiently, like their malware and suspected hacking warnings and re-crawling. So any time you can glean some insight into how they operate, no matter how small, it’s a good use of your time because whether we like it or not, they have a lot of power in the Internet traffic flow.
