It's the end of the week so why not wind down with some of the most creative (and plain silliest) videos of the past 7 days. The Muppets took to the internet to protest in the strongest possible terms about missing out on hundreds of possible movie awards, even though they aren't eligible for another couple of months. We also get a warning about the real nature of those cuddly internet cats. And, thank Goodness that Google isn't a real person or they would totally judge us on what we search for right? Oh. Wait.
You know how frustrating it is to get the wrong search results returned in Google - well, flip that and imagine what it's like from the other side. Because like College Humor say, everything you ask Google sounds a lot stupider when you actually ask Google. (NSFW)
When San Francisco turned itself into Gotham City, it won the heart of the internet. Now the Make-A-Wish Greater Bay Area has released a heart-warming behind-the-scenes video of that day, featuring cute-as-a-button Miles Scott, a five year old that was battling leukemia. It features all of the trials he faced to keep the city free of crime on that one special day. I dare you to watch and not tear up just a little.
The Muppets took to the internet this week to protest against their outrageous exclusion from over 247 possible awards. Thank goodness the new movie, "Muppets Most Wanted", is finally eligible for nominations on the 21st of March.
Following on with the theme of social networking comments (and if you didn't watch the Muppets video, you won't get that), the hammy old actors are back with their re-enactment of another YouTube altercation. Er, NSFW.
So, The Onion made a video ad for MacDonalds and it's absolutely mental. In it, they equate our desire for the Big Mac with "the rage of steel on bone" and "the caress of a gentle lover" and if you can get past the images of meat processing and the trippy soundtrack, then you'll probably end up agreeing that Big Mac cravings are nothing more than primal expressions of wanton lust. Or something.
I, for one, welcome our new cat overlords but Truther Cats aren't going to let the rest of the population off that easily. There's a conspiracy afoot and fluffy but power-mad felines like Grumpy Cat and Hamilton the Hipster Cat are at the centre of it. No, you grow up. (A teeny bit NSFW).
As an English-type person, the NFL continues to puzzle and confound me on a weekly basis. Luckily, The Exploding Heads make things much simpler to understand with their excellent British commentary on one particular game. Fist-line!
