But now, he's best known as a true green-living individual who rides his bike everywhere, a somewhat viral video on YouTube where he and Fox anchor Stuart Varney argue over global warming, and to Spinal Tap completists who remember his great drumming on "Gimme Some Money." The hope is to raise $25,000 through Kickstarter by March 17, which will be matched by the Begleys and their partners. In addition to people maybe just wanting to help out, there are incentive-based reasons to help fund the project. For instance, if you donate exactly $2,151, voice actor Raphael Sbarge, who voices Kaidan Alenko in the video game series Mass Effect, will record your outgoing message to whatever device you use, and you'll get a video of him doing it, and a signed copy of the game. Of course, there are incentives for all sorts of levels even if you'd like to donate a dollar.

The web series will focus on the building of an LEED-certified home in Studio City, a neighborhood in Los Angeles. LEED stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design. It's a rating system established in 1998 that awards credits based on Sustainable Sites, Water Efficiency, Energy and Atmosphere, Materials and Resources, and Indoor Environmental Quality. Extra points can be earned through achievements in design innovation and other factors. All of those credits can then be converted into (from Wikipedia): tax credits, tax breaks, density bonuses, reduced fees, priority or expedited permitting, free or reduced-cost technical assistance, grants and low-interest loans.
