It’s no surprise that our look back at the best branded Vines of the past 7 days includes reference to Thanksgiving Day. In fact, 4 out of the 5 Vines that caught our eye are themed around the American holiday which took place last Thursday. We loved the Dunkin’ Donuts parade but the disco dancing turkey from Lowe’s was a little disconcerting. There’s no user-generated content this week amongst our selection, it’s all brand produced – although Tesco have used their marketing to run a promotion to win the items shown in their Vine. Thanks to our friends at Unruly for the suggestions.

Our Pick Of The Best Vines Of The Week

1. Dunkin Donuts

Dunkin Donuts – who never fail to do something spectacular with Vine – bring us their version of a Thanksgiving Parade. Excellent use of the both the jam-filled, and the sprinkle-coated variety of doughnut. Yum.

2. Lowes

Keeping with the Thanksgiving theme, home improvement store Lowes, gives the viewer a sneaky peek at what their turkey may have been up to when they weren’t looking. It’s kind of odd but that disco ball is growing on us.

3. Puma

In the third of the festive quartet, Puma also pick up the Thankgiving theme with their unconventional take on the traditional Turkey meal. “Gobble Til you Wobble” starts off innocently enough but before you know it, it’s a sneaker that takes centre stage. (P.S. grapes with a roast, really?)

4. Samsung US

A brilliant use of technology from Samsung as they recreate a their Thanksgiving meal from ideas found on the internet (although they totally should have used their Pinterest pages for cross-promotion purposes…..). Not 100% sure what’s going on with the threesome and the boat thing at the end but hey ho.

5. Tesco

UK retail giant Tesco, re-create the famous “Generation Game” kitschy game show conveyor belt for their Christmas competition. Viewers who correctly guess one of the partially wrapped items get to win it. No cuddly toy to be seen though so we’ll take the (warning: spoiler) iPad.
